Portland, where I met my wife again after four month, is famous for its Brewerys and Streetfood which we enjoyed a lot. The beautiful Chinese,
Japanese and Rosegarden in Combination with the great Modern Art Museum were definitely a visit worth! In the evening we enjoyed an open air jazz festival. After four fantastic nights and also days in Portland, we hitched back to Trail and started our common hike.
Timberline Lodge, a famous 1936 build Skiressort, was our starting point. After 10, 15, and 20 mile days we reached The Bridge of the Gods, the Border to Washington. After a fine resupply in Cascade Locks, with free beer for hikers, we start now our next section. See here for some pics.
